Surveying Details

-----------------------------

20 February 1973. A new wreck was found during survey at position 54 40 43N, 005 14 15W. The site was swept by side scan sonar and close sounded. The least depth was shown as 127 metres in a general water depth of 143 metres. The wreck's keel lies on an orientation of 0/180 degrees on smooth sand sloping down to the E. The vessel is about 300 feet (91.4 metres) long, so it is too large for the REXMOOR.

Report by HMS FAWN.
