Forestry Survey: Gowanfold, Inverallochy, Aberdeenshire

The Gowanfold WGS survey area covers roughly 3 ha in two separate blocks close to Gowanfold, 1 km south-west of Inverallochy (OS 1:10,000 sheet NK 06 SW). The survey blocks currently lie within arable fields but the western blocks overlies the site of part of a camp which forms part of the disused WW2 airfield at Inverallochy.
