2004 RCAHMS Aerial Survey

The relatively wet spring and summer weather of 2004 produced a disappointing number of cropmarks. However, the opportunity was taken to record upstanding sites in areas poorly represented in the RCAHMS archive; of particular interest was a series of sorties based on Stornoway, which recorded a large number of prehistoric and later sites and landscapes on Lewis.
