Charles Rennie Mackintosh

Born in Glasgow in 1868, Charles Rennie Mackintosh is one of Scotland's most celebrated architects of the 20th century. His most revered works include The Glasgow School of Art, The Hill House in Helensburgh and Scotland Street School, Glasgow.

All our collections can be consulted in our Search Room and through our online resources. This includes Canmore where new images and information are added every day through ongoing surveys of Scotland's built heritage as well as through an active digitisation programme of negatives, prints and drawings.
