This building is eroding out of the grassy sward immediately above the stony beach on the SW side of Sand Wick bay. It is roughly circular on plan and delimited by a series of spaced orthostats, some of which are missing from its NE arc. The interior is largely filled with beach stones, although a stratigraphic profile was still preserved under the sward overlying its SW side on the date of visit.

The building appears to be directly comparable to the Iron Age cellular structure (HP60SW 71) at Eastings, Sandwick, which is situated about 95m to the NW.

Visited by RCAHMS (GLB) 26 April 2010.
