SU30:

A rock which protrudes through the sand on the foreshore has freehand carvings on it. The most distinct carving represents a cruciform gravestone with the letters 'RIP' carved on it. This is 10 x 25cm in size. There are other less discernable carvings, possibly spelling out names. The carvings appear to be recent (20th C.) in origin.
