(Location re-entered as NO c. 733 567 [N56 42.1 W2 26.3]). The location assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary. Montroseness (Scurdie Ness) Lighthouse (NO75NW 48) is at NO 73322 56758.

The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. The prominent rocky headland of Scurdie Ness is also known as Montrose Ness or Montroseness. It situated on the S side of the lengthy approach (from the E) to Montrose Harbour or the Port of Montrose (NO75NW 44.00).

The loss of this vessel may have occurred within the area of map sheet NO75SW.
