Avon Mill (disused) [NAT]

(Location cited as NS 734 547). Avon Mill, early 19th century. The ruins of a 3-storey and attic rubble building on an L plan, with the skeleton and some paddles of a 6-spoke, low-breast paddle wheel, about 3ft (0.91m) wide by 16ft (4.88m) diameter, with wood spokes and paddles, and iron rings and axle. There is also a turbine, now inaccessible.
