Aerial photographs show a cluster of at least five buildings, possibly shieling huts of different periods, situated in a grassy, but bracken infested, clearing at the NW end of Loch Bharabhaig.

At NG 68828 10078 there is a round-ended rectangular building, aligned NNE - SSW and measuring c12m x c3.5m internally. Approximately 10m to the SSW is another smaller building, aligned WSW - ENE and measuring c7m x c2.5m internally. On a small stoney knoll c 80m to the SSW (NG 68780 09990) there are at least two more buildings measuring 6-7m x 2.5-3m internally, and about 80m NW of this (NG 68731 10062) there is a small circular building, of c2m in internal diameter.

Information from Ishbel MacKinnon, July 2011.
