I G Whittaker 1998.

(Entered at cited location NR c. 535 671 [N55 50 W5 56.2]). The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. Ridley cites a location of NR 558 707 for this wreck but his published plan places it at NR c. 535 671. The latter location appears the more probable.

The name of this vessel suggests that she was a motorised puffer or VIC.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 4 October 2002.

G Ridley 1984.

The light 'at the entrance to Craighouse' that is mentioned by Whittaker may refer to either of the beacons NR56NW 66 and NR56NW 67.
