Baths (1933) with 960 lockers. Canteen (packed meals). Ambulance station. Steam and electricity (0.4% public supply). Report dated 09-08-1948.

Other Details: Operated by Sanquhar & Kirkconnel Coal Company from 1903, and William Baird from 1925 (later Bairds & Dalmellington Limited). Associated brickworks operated from 1912 until the 1970s.
