(Location cited as NS 089 648). Rothesay Pier, 19th century. A masonry steamer pier, on a T plan, with an unusually long head. A further short pier forms an enclosed basin formerly used by coal and fishing boats. This is linked to the main pier by a short iron swing bridge.
