NO31NE 85.00 centred 3965 1660

For earlier intercept station at Hawklaw see NO31NE 66

NO31NE 85.01 c.NO.3832 1589, c.NO 3862 1585, c.NO 3882 1591 and c. NO 3867 1611 Radio Station

Part of the Intercept 'Y' Station is visible on a large scale vertical air photograph (106G/Scot/UK 67, Pt II, 5177, flown 8 May 1946) about 550m NE of Foxton Farmsteading (NO31NE 73).

One building is visible on the photograph set centrally within a rectangular fenced enclosure with four masts. Several small earthworks are also visible within the enclosure, one of which may be a light machine gun post. The building with a pitched roof is situated within what appears to be blast walls.

A track leads E from Foxton farmsteading to this part of the listening station.

The Kingask Station is later than that at Hawk Law and has been mentioned in connection with Station X at Bletchley Park, England.

There no evidence on the current OS 1:2500 scale digital map for either the enclosure or the building and masts.
