NJ90NW 1928 centred 943 066

NJ 943 066 Assessment trenches in October 2001 revealed up to 3m depth of cotton-grass peat. Developer bores determined the depth to be 8m in places. There was no evidence of medieval features, but the area had been a low-lying marshland in the medieval period.
