A barrage balloon mooring site has been identified from post-war RAF vertical air photographs (106G/Scot/UK 10, 7037-8, flown 15 April 1946) in a trangle of land between the A 985 (Admiralty Road) and Hilton Road about 50m E of Hilton Cottages.
