Main electricity generating station for both Twatt (HY22SE 58.00) and Skeabrae airfields (HY22SE 59.00). Now a private house. Brick and concrete construction with metal framed windows.

Visited by RCAHMS (DE, GS), August 2000

A small accommodation camp was situated about 150m to the W. All that survives in a field are the concrete hut bases.

The hut bases and one Nissen hut are visible on RAF vertical air photographs (541[A] 390, 3416-3417, flown 18 May 1948).

Information from RCAHMS (DE), December 2004.
