Canal Feeder [NAT]

OS 1:10,000 map [no date available].

This canal feeder starts from the Bog Burn, just downstream of Mid Calder, and channels some of the water from the Cobbinshaw Reservoir (NT05NW 34.00) into the canal. The feeder, which is nearly three miles in length, enters the canal from the S just E of the Lin's Mill Aqueduct (NT17SW 47).

This is the major feeder for the canal.

H Brown 1997.

This feeder is visible on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Edinburghshire 1853, sheet 5) and on the OS 1:10000 raster map (ND) and is marked as canal feeder on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map.
