This farmstead is situated on the W bank of the Day Sike and comprises a building and an enclosure. The building measures 14.5m from E to W by 6m transversely over earthen banks spread to 1.5m in thickness and no more than 0.3m in height. The entrance is indistinct, but probably lay on the S where there is a midden heap outside the building; the enclosure lies beyond the midden in a bend of the burn.
