On the lower E-facing slopes of Millstone Edge there are a group of stone clearance heaps, a pen and a stone setting. The pen is D-shaped on plan (LID96 255) and measures 2.9m from E to W along the chord by 2.5m transversely within drystone walls 0.5m in thickness and 1m in height. Several of the clearance heaps have depressions in their centres, suggesting that there may be other pens or shelters in amongst them. One of the heaps (LID96 257), which measures 4.5m in diameter and stands 0.6m in height, has a flat slab set-up on end on its W side; the slab measuring 0.55m in length by 0.12m in thickness and 0.8m in height.
