Stone [NAT]

OS 1:10,000 map, 1971.

This boundary marker is situated on the summit of Dun Muir and is a cylindrical granite pillar measuring about 0.25m in diameter and 0.6m in height. The top of the stone has been shaped to form a narrow flat ridge flanked by two sloping facets, that on the S bearing the barely legible inscription 'MARCH' and that on the N, 'STONE'.

Visited by RCAHMS (SPH), 10 June 1997.
