An area of hard standing (NMRS MS 738/31, no.80), situated above the shore of Loch Leven, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland Ltd). It measure 10m by 10m and is now largely overgrown with grass. Several stations for fencing may be seen on the S side and 20m to the E there is a quarry. The feature is though to be either military or industrial in origin.

C Burgess (AOC (Scotland Ltd)) March 1996; NMRS MS 738/31 no.80 (23/1a).
