A possible charcoal burning platform (NMRS MS 738/31, no.39) was recorded, on the W of Allt Torran nan Crann, during a pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland Ltd). It is situated on a S-facing slope and measures 5m by 8m. It is levelled into the hillside to a depth of 1.6m on the N (uphill) side revetted with stone on its front side.
A large depression (NMRS MS 738/31, no.43) lies to the SE at NN 1521 5121. On a N to S axis, it measures 8m by 5m and is up to 2m in depth. There are slight banks on either side of the entrance which lies on the downhill, or N, side.
