This intact military type bridge is on the line of the Coupar Angus - Fort George military road (see NJ20NE 9 and NJ20NE 10 ).

Visited by OS (RB) August 1966.

Other than its missing parapets, this 18th-century military bridge over the Allt na Bruaich Ruaidhe is in an excellent state of repair. The arch of the single span measures 6m in width by 2.2m in height, and the bridge has an overall breadth of 4.4m.

This bridge carries the former line of the A939 public road over the Burn of Tornahaish.
