A subrectangular platform is situated in pasture close to the base of the NW flank of Burnswark Hill. It measures about 16m from NE to SW by 9m transversely; the rear scarp is slightly concave and measures up to 1m high, while the front scarp, which is also about 1m high, bows slightly outwards.
