NY17NE 2.14 1843 7876 to 1849 7883

A series of quarry-pits is strung out along the 250m contour on the NW flank of Burnswark Hill. They are unlikely to be contemporary with the construction of the fort (NY17NE 2.02) on the summit above, but they may be associated with the subrectangular platform (NY17NE 2.10) that is situated on the slope below.
