A rectilinear enclosure and pits have been recorded as cropmarks on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1992, 1997, 2000) lying on gently sloping ground at the base of Houdston Hill. Only the NE and NW sides of the enclosure have been recorded, and here the ditch measures about 5m in width. At least three large pits lie immediately to the NE.
