The foundations of a circular cairn, about 30 ft in diameter, surmounted by a modern beacon, are situated on Slewcairn, just below 800 ft OD.

RCAHMS 1914, visited 1911

NX 9284 6143. A heather-covered cairn situated on a level terrace on a SW-facing hillslope and surrounded by recent afforestation. Composed of granite stones, it is 10.5m in diameter and 0.9m high with a small marker cairn at its centre. It has no significant features.

Surveyed at 1/10,000.
