NX26SW 9 205 623.

(NX 2050 6230 and NX 2049 6228) Rings (NR)

OS 6" map (1909)

(A: NX 2053 6216 B: NX 2055 6220) Cairn Circles (NR)

OS 6" map (1957)

Two banked enclosures measuring 12' by 7' internally and resembling the shieling bothies of Sutherland. 'A' is an elliptical enclosure 35' by 16' within a low bank, some 4' wide, outlined by boulders. 'B' is similar to 'A'.

RCAHMS 1912, visited 1911

Two fairly recent enclosures, 'A' and 'B', to the SE of an unnamed burn, and two rectangular shielings, 4.5m by 2.3m to the NW of the burn together with a number of contemporary field clearance heaps. There are no 'cairn circles' or 'rings' to be seen.

Visited by OS (BS) 14 May 1976

Wilson, noting three 'rings' at Klasherne, is presumably referring to this site and/or NX26SW 7.
