Visited by OS (DWR) 31 January 1972

The 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (1896, sheet xxxiii) notes the discovery of cists 300m NNE of Several farmsteading. A number of cists were discovered in this field in the 19th century, but, although they may have been found at this location, they may have come from the area of the church that was said to have stood at NX 1250 3620 (NX13NW 7).
