In one field at Lindean (farm at NT 491 311) about 30 microliths have been picked up and, quite near by, others have been found. Accompanying these finds were scrapers, cores, and small split pebbles, polished on one face.

'Four flints, one non flint, two retouched' from Lindean are listed among chipped stone artefacts in Wilton Lodge Museum, Hawick (HAKMG 3402-3405, 3958).
