(NT 2769 9186) The topstone of a quern, found in digging the foundation of the National Floorcloth Works, Kirkcaldy, has been donated to the museum by Daniel Henry.

Upper quernstone of yellow sandstone, 16 ins. diameter imperfect. Presented to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS), Edinburgh, 1870. Accession number BB 40.
