(Area: NT 0903 8719) The Abbey Mill is mentioned in old deeds as early as 1374. Until near the end of the last century it stood a few feet E of the present flour mill (published as Heugh Mills on OS 6"map, 1854) in Monastery Street.

There is now no trace of the abbey mill.
