NS 5908 6573. A polished felstone axe, about 11" in length, oval in cross-section, with planed edges, found in 1848 at the SW corner of (OS 6" map annotated by S M K Henderson, 4 September 1947) the junction of Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street, is in the People's Palace Museum, Glasgow.
