A farmstead comprising one unroofed long building of two compartments and two enclosures, and a partially enclosed field are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ayrshire 1860, sheet xlvi). One unroofed building and two enclosures, all of which are marked by pecked lines, are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).
