A spring of ordinary appearance rising approximately N of NS08SW 4.

Name Book 1868

This spring seems to have been backed by fairly large stones and 20 or 30 quartz pebbles were found. This may be the St Modan's Well marked on the OS map.

No trace of this spring could be found. The streams in this area have all become part of an extensive drainage system for a new forest.
