NR99SW 6 910 906.
NR 910 906. Five flat stones bearing probably natural markings improved by light pecking lie under water near the inlet at the N of Loch Loran and 1'6" from the E shore. The largest stone is 5'3" x 2'6".
A local tradition of a "Fairy Footprint" is attached to two footprints, 11" overall, close together, with narrow heels which point across the loch. The left foot has possibly artificially added toes. Close behind are two ovals and several V-hollows suggesting large hoof-marks.
M Campbell and M Sandeman 1964
Not located. Miss Campbell (Kilberry Castle) says that the stones can be seen in dry weather.
