There is no local knowledge of any burial mound in this vicinity.

The exact location of the alleged ‘unopened’ cairn or barrow at or close to Rhubodach, noted by Hewison (1893, 38), is not recorded, and there are no features in the vicinity of the farmsteading that match his description.
