NR97SW 4 921 740

Situated at 110m OD, on a N-facing hill face about 275m S of NR97SW 6 and visible from it across a tree-covered valley, is a rock outcrop with a nearly vertical N face about 2m high, but at ground level elsewhere. On its horizontal fairly smooth top, in 1963 bared of turf to nearly 3m by 1.25m, near the SW corner of the horizontal area are six cups with single rings (all with gutters) and upwards of eleven plain cupmarks.

Cowal Archaeological Society 1964; R W B Morris 1969; 1977.

Mr A MacIntyre of Lindsaig Farm states that this rock is situated at approximately NR 921 740, but it could not be found during field investigation due to afforestation.

Visited by OS (IA) 9 November 1972.
