NR62SE 11 6601 2459.

NR 6601 2459. The site of an ancient bloomery was indicated by Mr Colville of Machrihanish. The area, about 12.0m in diameter, is covered with nodules of iron slag, and lies on a tract of blown sand. Slag, pottery, and flint implements have been found here.
