OS 6" map, Argyllshire, 2nd ed., (1924)

On a rocky knoll (75m OD) there is an oval dun which measures internally about 21.5m by 15m. The debris of the wall, which was probably some 4.3m thick, forms a low bank round the margin of the summit area of the knoll and a scree-like spread down the S and E flanks. Two short stretches of the outer face are visible, on the S and E respectively, and the entrance is indicated by a gap in the wall debris on the W.

RCAHMS 1971, visited 1960.

The dun is as described and planned by RCAHMS (1971).

Resurveyed at 1:10 000.

Visited by OS (NKB) 30 January 1978.
