NR 4037 6410) Standing Stone (NR)

This standing stone, of granite, is about 4 1/2ft high and 2ft in diameter.

Name Book 1878.

A squat block of limestone 0.8m by 0.4m at ground level and 1.3m high. A fragment has broken off the top of the stone and lies embedded in the ground nearby. The stone leans slightly towards the ESE and is aligned NNE-SSW.

Surveyd at 1:10 000.
