Immediately below the summit of a craggy knoll called Whin Craigie, and 3m E of the small marker cairn on that summit, there are the remains of a small shieling-hut measuring 2m ENE-WSW by 1.4m within a stone wall 0.6m thick and about 0.3m in height. The W side of the hut is formed by sheer natural rock outcrop and there is no obvious indication of the position of the entrance.
