A line of four wooden stakes was seen on 15th March, 1985 in contractor's excavation after demolition of a shop. This lay just east of the Perth High Street excavation. The stakes formed a line along the western boundary of the property c. 1.4m below modern street level, and c. 10m back from the High Street frontage.
