The former Battle HQ for Benbecula Airfield is situated in a field about 40m WSW of an abandoned farmsteading annotated 'Knock Rolum' on the current OS 1:25,000 scale map.

It is visible on vertical air photographs taken in 1946 (CPE/Scot/UK 191, 4042-4043, flown 10 October 1946).
