Chapel Well, a holy well, until of late visited by local people on the first Sabbath of May.

New Statistical Account (NSA) 1845 (T Nelson)

The well was traditionally associated with the adjacent chapel (NO03SW 2) but has now been filled in and the water carried into the adjacent stream by a covered drain.

No remains on surface. No local knowledge.
