OS 6" map (1958)

A cairn with a total diameter of about 117ft. On the slope of the cairn is a monolith 4ft high and 2ft 2ins by 2ft in cross-diameter. The standing stone is one of those formerly surrounding a large high tumulus; others lying about around it. Still 6ft or more high (OS 6" map annotated by O G S Crawford, 23 April 1940).
