(NN 9469 1876) (OS 6" map, annotated by O G S Crawford, 1 June 1937) Roman Signal station discovered by Crawford in June 1937. The diameter of the platform is 13 yards. The site is marked by a large beech tree growing on the south road-bank (O G S Crawford 1949)

A Flavian date is suggested.

This signal station is in a dilapidated condition, the ditch only survives 0.4m deep, with no trace of a bank. The causeway is indistinct. Surveyed at 1/2500.
