NN32NE 13 3918 2557.
There are a cup-marked stone and large boulder within the croft of Duinish (sited by Lacaille {1962} to NN 393 254) The stone bears two groups of cups, of fourteen and four. The large boulder bears 60 cup marks and may have had more as it has been damaged.
A D Lacaille 1929; 1962.
The cup marked stone and boulder are situated at NN 3918 2557.
The stone is triangular, about 1.0m high, and stands at the end of the remains of a long building. It has ten distinct cups about 2ins in diameter at the foot of its west face, but the otherindentations are probably due to weathering.
The large boulder, standing alongside, has eight distinct cups on top but, again, the other indentations appear to be due to weathering. Visited by OS (R D) 8 May 1969.
As described above.
Surveyed at 1:2500.
Visited by OS (D W R) 4 March 1973.
