Possibly St Maelrubha's Chapel was one of the several anonymous ancient ecclesiastical sites in the near neighbourhood of Dunstaffnage. The Captain of Dunstaffnage thinks that St Maelrubha's Chapel may be that marked on the hill overlooking the S side of the main road. It is known as the Green Chapel, and is near what used to be the road from the old coaching road to the Castle.

W D Simpson 1958.

This chapel could not be located. See NM83SE 20.

Visited by OS (R D) 25 August 1971.
