Barbreck's Well, described as a wishing well and holy well by Argyll County Council, is situated between the main road and stream, at the foot of a bank and W of the stream. A spring flows into a stone-lined tank. A sandstone tablet is dated 1734; part of its inscription refers to a new found stream.

Argyll County Council 1914; M Campbell and M Sandeman 1964.

The inscription on the stone is weathered, but parts of it are decipherable.

Visited by OS 7 October 1971.
